Tinnitus Evaluation and Treatment
Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) is defined as a sound in the ears or head that only you can hear. Oftentimes, it is due to a lack of stimulation as a result of hearing loss. There are many different causes of tinnitus and it can vary from patient to patient.
There is no cure for tinnitus at this time, but there are several approaches to treating tinnitus. These treatments depend on each individual patient. If you think you have tinnitus, you should schedule an appointment to have your ears and hearing examined. During this exam (also known as a tinnitus test), we will gather information about your tinnitus and possible causes. We will work with you to develop a plan to help manage your tinnitus.
